Guy Martin Pike's Peak

I've met him several few times due to having mutual friends and in my experience he's almost exactly the same in company as he is on t'telly - he doesn't know how to be false and what you see is just about exactly what you get, so if you don't like him on TV, you won't like him in person and vice versa. He's no big 'I am', he's as interested in others as they might be in him. I'd imagine that with the massively increased media focus and its attendant demands on his time, he may just be rushing around a bit more than he used to a couple of years ago and may therefore appear rude or dismissive in a given situation, but that isn't his nature.

There is that but he also has Asperger Syndrome...

 

I wouldnt mind a pint and a chat with him.

 

I read his book and he is a tad odd, however he has character and lives a life that I guess 50% of us on this forum would envy
