I'm OK once I can get my leg over (so to speak). I've got a new hip and I must of f**ked up loads of muscle on both sides. Apparently, the hip operation is pretty brutal and you should really be made to get up the next day and exercise - I spent about 3 months lying on my back after mine! Unfortunately my female physio showed little interest in helping me to get my leg over. Now my bottom half is entrusted to a male physio, as she lost interest in my lower half! So, I will have to see how things go but the KTM will be in the frame because it is light. Car-wise: I will buy locally and it will just depend upon what's in stock at the time. I think that it is a bit early to buy electric as the battery technology can only improve. I won't be commuting and it will just be for running into the nearest town for shopping, or the train station. I don't anticipate doing more that about 5,000 miles per year, if that.
