I luv the bike but couldn’t put up with it being orange ... x ah yes those are those I was drooling over... very nice... are they standard with that model 1299 Ani V ? X
True. I was on the factory tour as the SL’s were being malleted together on the assembly line and asked why the bright orange paint jobbie. Reply re my earlier post & HD tv cameras.
I ve had the please of being in the Team garage at motogp a few times and was told exactly the same about the orange bikes and TV filter making the colour appear Rosso red on the TV.
You are only 40 once! I also treated the 1299 to race exhaust full system! And bunch of other bling ;-)!! Bloody loud though. No chance UK track day so been doing European ones. Even Mugello has started noise testing! Best upgrade ever! Everyone comments on them, they look awesome and also heard V4 owners missing the “character” of the 1299S! Love the bike. Not fastest or most stable but most fun and most good looking. Had her on dyno pre and post exhausts too. Nearly binned it in Mugello and all I could think of was cost of the exhausts as I hurtled across the gravel! But another year without crashes!
