  5. Around £1200 for a quality job from the DUK reccomended paint shop which is in a shitty industrial unit in warrington. Dont even go near wet dream machine, not even with a jap bike.

  6. Agree. Dm paint is pissy and thin. Had it on a vtr and was almost see through and rubbed through in no time.

I Guess the duk one is rage designs

I personally think for a single colour yellow it shouldn't be any more than £500, if it is then you're paying for somebody's reputation of more skilled jobs as opposed to the job of painting single colour itself.

To be fair I think it should be viable to get it even cheaper, if you don't need to have any design of pinstripes etc lining up (such as mine) then there's no reason you can't strip off the panels and just take them in.

What you got in mind bradders?

  8. Check dip your car! Dipping is the future for quick paint changes I might be dipping my multi. It's cheap, easy to do and you know what if you don't like the result you simply take it off. It's a plastic paint.

  9. That's hydrographic printing by the sounds of it

  10. That looks great! You've done a cracking job with that.

  11. Cheers

  12. Damo just thinking aloud. Not sure how yellow would go with red frame.

Like the idea of wrap or dip tho as you could try it and if it's not great after a while change it

  13. Let me have a prat about in photoshop over the next few days and we'll see how it looks.

  15. Next to the red one,mit somehow looks smaller in yellow.

Would really like to see with a red frame now.

  16. heres a very rough knock up of the new dvt model, to be honest I've kinda rushed this and also used a new program (pixelmator) and not photoshop as I'm yet to install it on the new mac....although i think thats what I'm about to do because i was self taught on that and can't be arsed to learn another :)

i can mess around with colours, vibrancy of yellow etc etc if you want.

just tell me what you want to see and it can be my next 'damo self teach project' ;)

  17. Winner, winner, chicken dinner. Looks pretty tasty to me. I think if I were doing it I'd go for a white gold and red hailwood scheme. I'd like a mock up of that. That would look... Damn!
