  2. Half the problems with Desmo are that ducati thought they wouldn’t be used when punters actually used them a lot. Huge service and warranty bills I reckon

    I've spoken to owners and service centres like JHP and MotoRapido about this. Not many have been through the first big 15,000 mile service. Of those that have, it seems those engines that have been used hard and regularly at high revs (trackdays etc.) have fared better than those that have been used gently.
