My 899 gets really warm now that I’ve removed the rear cylinder covers and fitted the full six carbon heatshield on the exhaust, it’s noticeably hotter tbh but still NOWHERE NEAR as bad as the Panigale V2 was from new, that was retched

 

I actually thought about cutting some slits in a pair of trousers and sticking some old ice cream molds cut in half so you could open your legs and get a lovely cool breeze on your nads

 

Razor-blade slit inbetween the fingers of leather gloves is a good hack.

(you can then spread your fingers to let air onto your hands)

 

Remind me to never go for ice cream at your house.

 

to be fair, its not as bad as i thought, i have engine covers off and heat tape under seat and under frame above cylinder although defo through town on a hot day is shit, but cooler times i dont notice, when its 30 degrees it too hot for any bike.

in the winter a complete non issue
