Thanks for this Mentalist bro. My dvt 2015 base....13k miles LHS grip off. RHS still on. But engine light too? Any hope for a cut n shut repair on the dvt heated grips?
Don't see why not Bandit, 1st port of call would be to disconnect the left grip wiring connector, use a multi meter to see if there is an open circuit on the heated grip wiring and also if there is a 8-12v feed going to it. If you have voltage to the connector then the grip must I presume have an open circuit and be faulty. R&G grips have the same resistance so f you don't mind having a slightly different grip pattern then buy a set, cut the connector plug off and solder into the OEM one. a quick ebay search and loads of left ones for sale £15.
