  1. balnagask garage on balngask road. knocked down mid ninety's to build flats. possibly one of the oldest garages in torry maybe Aberdeen oppisit the chippy (Zanders). ever come across the Robbs of torry?. good people.

  2. You might have come across my daughters. Well, actually your a bit young for them too. :grinning:

  3. and now that i think of it. i sold a black cb550 f2 to a fella in torry.

  4. I was only in Torry and Balnagask for a couple of years, I didn't have a car and I took the bike to Shirlaws. I remember the Fine Fare (became William Low maybe? now a Tesco I think). I sometimes drank in the Rats' Cellar but mostly in The Prince or in Ma's. It's all a bit sketchy.

  5. here ya. yip both my regulars along with radars before it became the wodka bar. aye and all very sketchy :Angelic::smileys:

  6. oh and i lived v.close to sherlaws

  7. Radars was good. They had that offer if you finished a plate of spag bol (I think) you could have a second one free. The original super-size me restaurant.

  8. the ashvale chippy used to do that up there too. 5lb of cod and chips if you could finish it you got another free.
what was the bike radars had in the glass tank. a bit of a special if i mind right.

  9. I can't even remember seeing a bike in Radar's. My daughters learned to swim at the Beach Leisure Centre. Lessons were on a Sunday morning so, when they were getting their lesson, I'd go to the Inversneky for breakfast. Odd name for an Italian cafe but they did brilliant breakfast.

I think we've now officially bored the living shite out of everyone else on the forum. :grinning:

  10. Hi and welcome from just outside London. I delivered a Flashy Amg 6.3 Merc I sold recently to Aberdeen recently and met the fella at a Proper Hotel just past the ski slope.Lovely lovely gaff but they looked down their hooters at a couple of "wide boy cockney car dealers" as I heard the stuffy Glaswegian manager say! Took great delight in telling him I was born in Broughty Ferry on the proper coast!

  11. they may well of bored me first. :smileys:. chances are we have bumped into one another somewhere down the line. the bike used to sit in a glass cabinet behind the wee stage.. spent a bit of time googling. couldn't find it.

  12. Does nobody live in Dundee? :grinning:

Sounds like you've done OK 749. Good on you.

  13. It would be nice to think so finm. You prob wouldn't recognise me now though. I was a ginger then now I'm all scalp. On balance I preferred ginger.

  15. Aye, there's a few of them floating about up here, lovely motors! I'm thinking that may have been the Norwood Hotel, nice enough but yeah, a bit above their station!

  16. He hides in the heather. Very hard to spot. Few people have ever seen him.

  17. even less want to meet him twice. :(:smileys:
