It's just sat in the shed, I ride the multi Strada, let me know if you do have a problem, I'm away from tomorrow from 10 till we'd pm, but around all today. I'll pm you my phone number now, message if you get really stuck
Numpty Q, where's the regulator, how hard to remove? Battery and associated panel is already off ( removed battery while I was away rowing
I can take the regulator off and leave with current wife (#2) in centre of Fishguard, she could bring down to ferry in Fishguard ( well goodwick but that's a discussion for the purists)
Yes, very easy to access and remove. Just an idea but... Could you send it to OP perhaps rather than him getting a ferry to collect? By the way - really excellent of you to offer the loan!
Suspect as he's in Dublin, it's quicker to get yo rosslare and cross same day return as a foot passenger than trying to post it, I know someone on the crew he may hand carry it over to rosslare
the special help on this thread is starting to rival the stuff you used to see regularly on Adventure Rider Forum.
Just want to see him get a special frisking by security when he tries to hand carry a suspicious bunch of wiry electronics onto the ferry....
marge1963New Member Gents. I am really impressed by the generosity and knowledge of the people on this forum. You were spot on with the fault being the regulator/ rectifier. A big shout out to Paul for managing to source a replacement rectifier, for Ron who had ‘the’ spare one, Ron’s friend Steve who drove it down to Dublin, then ran me to where the bike was kept in a brilliant garage/ man cave. Plus to Megabikes who had the correct battery and charged it for me. It all worked, I can report I am now in Killarney, reunited with my mates. Thank you! I still have 5 days left of the tour. Craig
