i went to silverstone gp. extremely tired facilities, quite dirty in parts. really not very nice. if those people want to charge loads of dollar for ticket/parking they should at least clean up that place. instead they sell warm beer and shitty food for over inflated prices.
We parked in one of the circuit car parks as my son bought us tickets to see MotoGP as a present and I have arthritis n both knees, ended up paying £30 over the phone on the day and the bastards had the gall to charge £1.50 booking fee over the phone......won't be going again
If you search on here you'll probabl Dont worry that will all change when the Circuit Of Wales opens up, the facilities will be spotless, food will be gourmet quality probably freeze dried. There will be free parking for hoverboards and teleporter machines and of course flying pigs will get free admission.
Appeal was send today with a few references to the British Parking Association rule's which Indigo are members of, will update when i hear back.
Im not saying what youve done is wrong.... But i wouldnt have wven taken the time to respond given the overwhelming evidence in your favour.... Hope it works out for you though.
I would have just responded with 'how about you suck this giant dick and we can talk about me paying you'
Camelfarmer realised his mistake when Brian, the overly camp post boy at Indigo came knocking at the door. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Camel farmer and Brian had a lovely evening involving chicken wings and light beer and relations of the intimate nature cause camelfarmer takes what he can get.
An update Had a reply back today and they have not answered any of my question's on the rule's from the BPA and other issues i asked, all they said was "Did you pay for your parking on the day and provide proof, if not then there client has no option but to use debt recovery" Email sent, so will wait for the next step.
You have not answered my questions so, again, do I have to pay for parking if there is no signage stating this. Please provide proof of signage at the two simultaneous parking spots I was apparently parked in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Have to agree entirely with camelfarmer. Let them threaten whatever they want. They cant actually do anything about it. Chancers.
They even had the front to say Good morning at the start of the email. Words to that affect have been sent.
Yes they can I have a court case in small claims in December They will use the Bevis case as they now have more weight behind them
Keep firing questions at them, in particular ask them to give precise locations of the two car park numbers (26 & 40?) that they mention so you can confirm or deny your presence at the times mentioned, also ask for copies of any photographic evidence they have to support their claim. They will not supply the information so make sure it is sent via email or if you post it get a certificate of posting. They will need to prove their claim if it goes all the way and can only do this by using information such as this. If you have asked for verification of facts and they constantly ignore you or refuse to answer it will almost certainly be because they don't have the information to use against you. Pretty sure that they have to disclose what evidence they will be presenting but you may want to get that confirmed by someone who genuinely knows.
Your case is completed different. One has cameras etc. The other has some chancer hoping to catch unwary folk out on their visit to an event where he's already paid an entrance fee and parked in an unmarked field. Should he have checked the website for parking? No. Could he have? Yes. But without signage how is he supposed to know? I'd ignore in the basis that the people collecting monies would just wait for someone to panic, bite and chase them instead. Though the further he gets into 'negotiations' the further towards paying up he gets. Best advice is ignore, think about it..... Would he have paid the Parking if he'd known? Probably. Did he know? No. I'd play safe and ignore it. The more people do the same the better. Strength in numbers!
