Discussion in 'Newbies Hangout' started by Michael Golding, Nov 1, 2021.

  1. Welcome and enjoy. Nice bikes!

  2. thanks mate :upyeah:

  3. Newbies in must be the cleanest bin so far :D

  4. Not seen such a well presented Bin since I became a member of the initiated. Bikes OK if you’re in to that sort of thing, a little pongy and noisy for my neighbourhood, Nice to see standards rising at last.:D

  7. Lovely examples, especially tge Rs250. I had one 20 years ago, traded it in for a new 2003 cbr 600rr. Always regretted that move ! Still i had alot of fun on that Aprilia:upyeah:

  11. Just got the fairings off her and noticed this plug that has been cut, is this off the side stand?

  12. Same connector. Often cut on the 748/916. Let’s the bike warm up whilst on the side stand. Old man, all comments are from my befuddled memory. Rational views also available:)

  13. thanks for the quick reply, that’s great news.
    Cheers :upyeah:

  14. Not a great idea to leave it like that. Riding off with stand down can mean bike down. Fairings ain’t cheap. Don’t ask how I know!:)

  15. Haha i bet! But im only 36 so my memory is still good :joy:

  16. 36! Thank you for making an old man feel bloody ancient. Great little project and a great bike. Enjoy.
