Well, bike was stolen over the weekend. Never even got to ride it after all that work! If anyone sees it, let me know? Some info, will post in stolen as well: 1198 S WX10 NWL Has 'DNA+' markers fitted (Carole Nash) '21' red and white fairing, burnt around the base red pillion seat cover (bobbles) Engine: 'R' alternator cover Slipper clutch Upgraded starter wiring MosFET Reg/Rec Gold heat tape in various places Nylon coil wrap wiring protection Larger Battery Chassis: Renthal sprocket adapter/ sprockets R&G protectors: front axle, under-fairing, tank sides Carbon fibre: Intake covers, seat side panels, lower exhaust shield, rear mudguard
wasn't insured unfortunately, had to SORN it as it was in the workshop so long. Was chatting to Rich down at Louigi Moto he reckons it is either out of the country or will turn up somewhere as it isn't very useful without the key/ parts being datatagged. We'll see, but it seems to be cursed so I am not holding my breath!
What terrible news. Bristol does have a reputation for bike theft from what I've read but the bikers are fighting back now. Isn't there quite a large watch group that's helped in a few collars? Will post on Bikers Against Motorcycle Crime FB Group if you like.
Bad news Tazbert I will keep my eyes open for your bike - but i never saw you before - you must move too fast
Sorry to hear about your bike being nicked. Where was it stolen from? (Ex Easton resident back in 80’s/90’s).
I wish! I'm not that fast, not too many points on my licence... Nah it's been largely off the road for about 3 years, first with leaking forks then the engine problems Brislington, I'm on the Bath Road these days
Talking of points,i've collected three this year for a SP30 and this has just made a £60 difference to my insurance renewal notice.
