Hi again folks, well 1600 miles on and the Strada is cooking with gas, phenomenal handling and excellent top speed (ah..em!!) However, has anyone any experience of this? Over the past month I notice when filling up that the fuel gauge doesn't quiet read 'all bars', and this has been gradually getting worse....today, on the way back from Hereford I filled up and the gauge didn't register at all. I turned it on and off a coupla times to no avail, and rode the 50 miles home with the solid yellow reserve light on and the 'distance to go' readout saying 37miles despite a full tank. I also apparently was only averaging 32mph!! (I think not!!) It feels like the on board computer is starting to go haywire or that the tank sender unit is kaput, so a call to Riders on Monday is in order.......has anyone else experienced this malarkey on a 2013?
Time for new clocks. I have had four Ducatis and they have all had new clocks under warranty. It has never caused the bikes to stop but it is annoying. Strangely the replacements all went on without problems and the problem was sorted.
Really??.....I didn't realise that was still a problem on the new ones, ah well....I have emailed Riders. Let's see what they have to say for themselves.....thanks for the heads up.
Yes. My 62 plate Multi sport has recently had clocks because of the well known fault but they are fine now.
