Hi Julian I spent nearly 30 years living in Strubensvalley Roodepoort. Next door to Clearwater mall. I was quite active in the DOCSA group that was run out of Ducati Johannesburg, plus the WRBA and some social groups I ran on the West Rand. I am actually British, but went out there when I was straight out of school in the UK. I came back nearly 2 years ago when things really started to fall apart. Load shedding, potholes and buggered trafflic lights etc etc. I also spent a couple of years in the SADF, but that was years ago. I brought my Multistrada with me, and went through the schlep of getting in on the road over here as well as what not to do with it in winter.
