  1. My knees ain’t so great now and they do hinder movement during track days. Chicanes are tricky when you need to shift your arse quickly from one side to the other. I’ve always had (and still have) excellent upper body strength so I compensate by using my shoulders and arms- a no no but fuggit, works for me…

As for Porsche time? Yes, certainly. I came to that conclusion some time back… they go like shit off a stick and the only knee drama is getting in and out the bugger… :D

  2. I started getting some niggles from my knees last year. I adopted one of the programmes from the 'The knees over toes guy' on youtube, which helped a lot. Might be worth a go...:upyeah:
They're simple exercises which blow away the dangerous myth of never extending your knee beyond your toes.

  3. Ahhh... total hip replacements are very common nowadays, and they normally have you discharged a few days after surgery. The consultant and physiotherapist will give you sound advice & guidance with your rehab, and hopefully it won't be too long before you regain enough and range and strength to swing your leg over a bike. Good luck!
