Horsham Piazza Italia - 6th April 2012

Discussion in 'Rideouts & Events' started by Bikerbabe, Mar 7, 2012.

  1. Yep bird baths have a layer of ice on 'em with a bit of frost on cars / roofs too. Roads are all dry though and clear blue skies mean that once the sun wakes up it should be nice in the sunshine.

  2. Yup -2 here getting thermals out

does look like it will be better later - the Pizza in the Piazza better be worth it

  3. What a fabulous day ... yet again
A chilly start for some - congrats to the stalwart who came from Somerset today.
Huge thanks go to Denise, Pietro and all their team.
Major thanks to Jilly for immaculate organisation and implementation this year. Smooth as strawberry milkshake!!
    Enjoy the pics ....
See you all soon, I hope.

  4. Sue- you beat me to the picture thing. Faster than a speeding Ducati!!

Hope lots of ££ got raised for charity - I had a great time. Certainly enjoyed my ride home without being 'marshalled'

Anyway - here goes. Check out Toby and his nice new 749R ...he's one happy fella!!

  6. Great pics Ken .... a pro at work!!

  7. Nice pictures both of you! A really great day, thanks to all the organisers. Ken, Toby might want to get him alarm checked or the sensitivty adjusted, it went off more times than I can remember!

  8. Thank you, Bikerbabe, for all your help today, much appreciated. Also thanks to the rest of the team - Rose, Fred and Ray, and all at Motori Di Marino. I will let you all know how much we raised for the charities as soon as I know (when the collecting tins have been accounted for!) My thanks to ALL who took part, great to meet friends old and new, and I hope you enjoyed the day as much as I did.
Lovely pics by Bikerbabe and Ken too!

  9. Looks like it was a great day Guys! Well done to all of you!

  10. Can I add my thanks to the organisers too, especially whoever invited the people serving refreshments to Motori di Marino! A cup of hot coffee to defrost the fingertips was very much appreciated after a rather chilly ride down. Interesting variety of bikes and the sun shone all day.

  11. Gutted! Looks like I missed another fantastic day! Glad it all went well Folks! By the look of the Pictures and the pleased remarks which have been made! It sounds like you all had a fab day once warmed up!
Well done to all the organisers (Jilly and Co) and a big thanks to our friendly photographers (Sue and Ken), this should promote the event for 2013!
    This one I will attend!!
    Cheers to all Take care!

  13. More great photos, thanks Nick.
And PhilB - yes, you must be there next year, a real shame that you missed this year's run - we missed you!

  14. Nice pics Ken & BB.

Shame I couldn't get organised this year - been on 15 hour days constant for five weeks, so absolutely knackered! Did have a wander through the bikes after lunch and nice to see some of the usual suspects and some new ones.

Toby - that bike is ALMOST as pretty as you! It could do with some flies on it though, so if you fancy a ride at some point get in touch.
