How Crap Are 848's

  8. aldavez, no idea what you asked me! lol

    I dont have a 848 any more, and when I did it was road not track. My mates (and several others) have shaved from 180kgs down to 155 ish with 2l fuel on a monster, air cooled, race bikes. Be amazed if you could get an 848 even close without huge expense
     
  9. Weight is easier to lose than power is to get and makes a difference everywhere. HP only helps down the straights. But then upgrading to a 1098 might be cheaper than carbon bodywork and wheels, and you can still bin the road stuff off it to go even faster.
