exactly - throw the beggars on the streets if they cant pay their rent how the hell can my council afford to empty my wine bottle recycling bin every week !!! every 2 weeks would clearly be unacceptable to me as id have bottles spilling out all over
Disagree, 46% is a failure to correctly represent the rest of the tenants of the authority. Their poor record in rent collection for whatever reason means that money has to be clawed from somewhere else.
Perhaps the council are partly responsible for the figures, but every tenant knows they have to pay rent. Do you agree with that? What do you mean by 'clawed from somewhere else'? I saw the same family evicted twice in the same year. Some people just don't want to pay (they were a disgusting family too, the mess they left behind had to be seen to be believed).
Council will evict, then claw back the £8k in rent arrears at £3pw. While funding them in private renting. The other half works for a London council in Housing Allocations. You would never believe the stories from that dept.
