How many of you go mountain biking ?

  1. 1990's Klein Attitude Pro now converted to single speed, 2014 Specialized Epic carbon 29'er, Specialized Crux cyclocross bike and BMC Pro Machine. Like my cycling.

  2. 1990 Klein Attitude - Drinky and Char - nice! Those were sweet. I remember when Dave Hemming got his and took it to 2nd in the Worlds DH - I was very jealous of both the bike (much sweeter than anything Kona were making then) and the trip to the US worlds (which my team weren't going to pay for either)!

As I have a clean stable now, am doing some research over the winter to see if I should add a 29er Enduro to the stable given the reviews of them....? Never ridden a wagon wheeler other than wheelying one around and pulling car park tricks on a demo bike to see how clumsy they are. But need to ride one in anger.

Like my bikes too. Liking that new Ohlins (Cane Creek) double barrel air shock.....

  3. I have an old Turner RFX and an even older Orange X1 from my riding days. Too unfit/broken at the moment so the Orange is in bits and buried in the back of the shed, and the Turner has been lent to a friend.

  4. i have a 22 yo Saracen Team Ltd Edition

  5. Mine's a 24seven Slacker SL with a few tasty mods (Sun MTX rims in camo pink with DMR revolver hubs are my fave)

Had looooaaads of bikes before, used to be sponsored with my MTB's (more street / skatepark stuff)

I do miss my DH bikes though!

  6. I have a Kona Shred with some upgrades and used to go either to the Lookout, Chicksands or my local place Aston Hill. A big off at the 4X track at Chicksands has ruined my confidence to barely use it now :(
Every year I say to myself I need to get back on it but other stuff gets in the way

  7. Love my MTBing tbh
Get out every weekend and mostly once during week as well
I live right next to Otley Chevin which is a stones throw from the Yorks Dales - all my mtb is xc and very early morning ie as sun comes up
I have an old Marin Wolf Ridge for winter - am now using that - its had pretty much everything replaced over the years - its heavy and certainly not state of the art but its bomb (mud) proof and will go anywhere
Have a Rocky Mountain Altitude SXC 70 for summer

I also have recently got into BMX - built an ultra burner as thats what I had as a kid and built my son a Mongoose Cali
Its a proper hoot at the BMX track and a good way to keep fit with a single gear lol
