  2. You have to get older, you don't have to get old!

75, vertical and still riding so it's not all bad.

I find it harder to get my leg over and harder still to get it back (why do they make seats higher at the back?? A bike is a one person vehicle) I'm 5'11" so not verically challenged.

  3. I’m 51. No idea where 30-51 went, I blinked and found I have 2 kids, my eldest started Uni in September, that made me feel old.

  8. I’ve recently turned 64. The only good thing about this is that Sir Paul McCartney wrote a song all about me…..

  10. Think only positive thoughts about life , and about the future .....

There really are no rules ( or any reasons either , for that matter ! )
Here's someone who has taken the utmost care of their health ,
and kept in tip-top condition throughout ....
    ..... so take heart !

    :joy:

  11. I joke with some old truckers can they recommend a cartwright & if they play along a good black-smith!

Jokes aside I've had the feeling we might be going back too horses & carts if things go bad.

  12. Glasto is a great festival all other UK festivals are pale imitations.
Luckily I went in a ‘dry’ year 95 I seem to recall, recall the tickets were £90 for the whole experience.

  14. If im honest i dont think im going to be hugely disappointed if we miss out on the ballot.
If were successful Im going to hire a big fk off camper van for the duration so at least I have my own bed, kitchen and most importantly toilet to do as i please in..
    God bless getting old etc..:D

    £350 a ticket tho :astonished:

  16. We arrived late and were forced to pitch next to the latrines, every morning they emptied the gullies.

I’m happy I went, ate vegetarian all weekend in the belief that I’d save my intestines….worked though happily.
My advice would be to camper van, camping is crap in my experience.

    Good Luck
