Discussion in 'Builds & Projects' started by Connor, Dec 19, 2017.

  1. Of course, just much easier to know what your aiming for. Pop into the DRO and let the chips fly :)

  2. I am old school manual..:)

To the next problem, I'm going to guess that the different swingarms have different lower shock bolts as well?

  5. Or a bit of powdercoating where it shouldn't have been......

  6. As far as i remember the shock mounting bolts are the same...

  7. Yeah it was a bit of Powdercoating in the hole not letting the bolt go any further, all sorted after much swearing :)

  8. Hi Connor, what's your opinion of " Moto Forza " products? What is the quality like? Worth the money? I was going to get some for my project.

  9. Quite similar to higher end track fairings, but for the money they're quite good. I would definitely go for them again. Although the screen they sell for the SC kit is really low quality, looking to go oem on that when one pops up :)

  10. Thanks.. :upyeah:What was delivery like? packaging etc...

  11. I can't really remember if I'm honest, but I would have remembered if it was badly done, but I'd go for it. I've recommended them to friends before

  12. Bad news again...

Popped the shock in the damper Dyno to see how it was doing and it's all over the place, Sticking rebound needle primarily. I don't have the needle kit to pressurise it nor do I want to buy one so it'll get send away for a rebuild. Bit gutted as I'd quite like to see what's wrong!

  13. And here she is; IMG_20190324_192715_741.jpg IMG_20190324_211519_872.jpg IMG_20190324_212229_364.jpg IMG_20190321_172246_899.jpg

147 engine and 131 at the wheel, lost 4 hp with that exhaust which is to be expected, long term I'd really like to make a titanium system for it but I'm in no rush, it's time to enjoy it and get her dirty.

Shock has also been rebuilt and tested, I'll upload the geometry and driving force stuff later.

  16. Great thread , well done. Are those photos taken in South Gower?

  17. What a cracking read this thread has been. Certainly made my commute to work a dam site better this morning. Lovely looking bike.

    Now... what next?!
