Steve's suggestion of threaded pads or even rollers looks favourite. Was just looking to see how universal/costly the struts are. Can you see a make/model on it Ron? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BiMi-Rep...DUTY-Strut-Piston-Fast-Delivery-/170820174450
No make marked on it Chris, just a fire-retardant sticker underneath the seat pad - I was thinking about some thick rubber pads I could cut to follow the feet contours and get some heavy duty glue to stick underneath - the chair doesn't need to roll about once it's set up.
But it would be useful if it did, even if just to move it away from & nearer the desk as you get in and out.
Nope I think this the right colour code! 7"Gas Lift - Casing 7" (180mm) extends to 12" (310mm) The medium range is white - and the special micro range is yellow so you can easily distinguish........
Contact these people, buy 5 of the taller footstool legs from them...? Might then need a bit of fettling (or not) to get them to fit https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Marseill...815544?hash=item420bfa9eb8:g:QkkAAOSwR8hdxYEv
