Hypermotard 1100 Dead. Wiring Diagram Needed.

Discussion in 'Technical Help' started by comfysofa, May 4, 2016.

  1. evo (well sp) if theres a variation...

  2. The fact it's an EVO makes a big difference. Wiring loom differs. The injector relay appears to be front right side of bike near to tank.

The connections to the dash differ. Will need to study the diagram to work out the differences.

  3. As above....Pic shows RH front by the tank 2016-05-06 11.19.16.png

  4. Right, so number 3 is another fuse....didn't see that anywhere....and ive not seen that relay either....although I now know where I'm looking....thanks very much....loads of stuff to do tonight....trying to get the positive vibe going...

  5. Fingers crossed it's something simple :)

  6. Looks like that is a fuse box at 3

  7. Yes, just could be the way its drawn....the fuse box is there in that place....its probably just showing one fuse from the box...as the box holds 6 and 3 spares...its just a case of finding that relay...

  8. Yep - that's the one I saw....its just a case of finding it now....although ive had the tank off a few times and have been round the front of the bike and ive not seen that anywhere....well, not that I remember...

  9. May have a rubber boot over it or taped up to the eyeballs....

  10. Yeah - and more to the point we're (well - I am) assuming this is the problem - may not be...but ill post back later on which ever way it goes...

  11. This is why we NEED spare bikes.

  12. Yep...on the zed today...in fact was almost on the rsv4 but ive kinda got to the point with that bike that I don't really want to ride it unless ive got a full set of leathers on...but that might be tomorrow as I was thinking of hitting Loomies as theres a Suzuki day over there...

  13. It's a fuse box at 3 (behind the front right panel). Fuse 6 is for the dash. Fuse 1 is for key on.

Fuse 1 goes to pin 22 at the dash connector
Fuse 6 goes to pin 23 at the dash connector

  14. Cool...its Friday afternoon and clock watching...out of the office in 19 mins over to Louigi's to get the relay (they've just had their delivery) and home to test....many thanks for your very helpful input...

  15. Fingers crossed for you mate :p

  16. Thanks - its been a bit of a long haul (and not over yet) - it still needs to be dyno'd ive only ridden the thing about 4 or 5 times since ive had it but it needs to be right (for me). Plus once its off the dyno then ive still got more cleaning and tidying up to do on it...eg, the indicators don't flash at the correct speed so I need to wire in some resistors. Once its actually alive and running ill tidy up all the wiring...never ends...I don't mind as its therapy but I do mind things like this!

Still got stuff to do but fuck it - I'm off in 5 mins - first to Sainsbury to put some fucking air in my so-say repaired back wheel/tyre puncture...

  17. Ha ha ha yeah....

I've never had a bike 100% how I wanted it....

I spoke to Chris at CJS about a tune....He said to sell my DP ECU as he can do all the work to the standard ECU

Plus I'm getting rid of all the carbon bits off mine....

    And so it begins....again :D

  18. Yep - I look at the zed and think....marchesini's......

Definitely agree with Chris...he did my last evo twice...money well spent...providing I can get it to start itll be there this time next week!

  19. Bollocks - not that....still dead....might have to concede defeat and get it to Louigi's....
