  1. Always thought hypers look best without clothes, like most Italian girls...
Out for a ride later then?

  2. Build continuing...going well....

  5. Maybe...it's not taxed and the mot is out...might go round the block. Just soaking the air filters and having a break...

  6. Woohoo....she's alive!

  10. So, it'll be at the café in the morning then :D

  11. Nah...so ducati John tells me....very gingerly ride for 10 miles to get the engine warmed up...then stress the motor up and down through the gears up to 50 miles....then, and I quote, " rag the shit out of it" to get the rings seated...as its raining...that ain't happening today....the first 100 miles I need to stay close to home just in case...

  12. Good erfort Andy. Nice job. So you got new piston rings? run it in hard as advised. I ran mine in hard from new, never used any oil even at 50k. Give it some...

  13. Hi Chris,

Dont think so but ill check the parts list all the same....im assuming an initial ride will show anything up...cant wait to try it with the head work also!

  14. Ready for test ride....been out all morning with my mate ( on the rsv i might add )...just got back in...pushing it to go straight back out...here it is in its cerakoted glory...

  15. Just for the record if anyone is considering stripping one of these down to the frame, ( bar the engine ) pretty straight forward and easy...

  16. Assuming fired up all ok no issues?

  17. Yep..pretty well on the button...!

  18. Initial test ride complete....a very gentle couple of miles round the block from my house done. No leaks, nothing fell off...the only thing was a couple of half turns on the exhaust bolts to tighten them up a bit more. First impressions....smooth smooth smooth....definately smoother ( paid a couple of hundred to the have the crank balanced and its definately better than it was before. Head work: hard to say as ive not opened it up but initally it feels more torquier....time will tell on that front. Sounds a tad deeper too but thats probably cos theres more volume now in the exhausts ports...

    Otherwise, brilliant, more than happy.
