  1. Oh my, this is such an awesome fun bike, seriously grin inducing. The rifle crack on the QS upshift is epic and oh so naughty.

  2. If it helps, once the bike has had a remap following the Termi race system’s installation, it is a totally different bike. No erratic throttle. Bloody marvellous.

  3. I picked mine up in June it has the same fueling issue, I’ve spoken to the dealer who have been very sympathetic but not offered any solutions, I did get to ride the demo bike a couple of weeks ago which didn’t have any fueling problems at all apart from a back fire every time you roll the throttle off ( in any load or condition) which to begin with sounds great but after a few hundred soon becomes an embarrassment, for me that wasn’t a solution, the bike needs a professional remap which will cost 4-5 hundred quid and void any warranty with Ducati, but I love this bike so much, I suppose it’s a bit like meeting the most beautiful woman in the world that rides a Ktm I need to get my head around how much it bothers me. Sorry the starting has been 98 % good with the odd lazy one but always starts, iwould be interesting to me if any body out there has the same popping with the termi set up

  5. Loads of pops and bangs on both up and down shift, with the full race system. No starting issues to report.

  7. Best looking bike in Ducati's range at the moment. Really fancy one of these are some point.

  8. The looks are what attracted me, in March I was thinking of selling my 12yr old monster Id been looking at mt07 scramblers and not really that convinced on selling the monster, then I saw the 4 pg report in MCN by the end of the week I ordered one, love at first sight

  10. I think it was kind of them to allow access to all of this free of charge.

  11. Its interesting that removing the air box lid allows the enegine to make more power with no adjustments to the fuelling.

  12. Is it likely that the lambda/O2 probe will make some fuelling adjustment ? I ran my 1200 Multistrada with a Leo Vince decat without a map and it didn’t run lean. Andy

  13. No excuses now Chris, you need to buy 698. :)

  14. Quick question to owners. Has the white plug to the tank’s vent hose been removed by the dealer? If not, should it be?

  15. Hypermotard king takes his 698 off road, hopefully he doesn’t drop it like his 950…….

  16. I watched the first 4 mins of that and gave up, he’s all over the place but then he doesn’t have off-road tyres, they look like Pirelli MT60s as fitted to the Scrambler. It’s no wonder he’s slipping & sliding everywhere. Not a fair test of the bike IMO.

  17. Do you get any other extras barring a q/s and some stickers on the RVE?
