  2. I think it works with the colour scheme and other mods you have and If you love it thats all that matters. For me personally, I fell in love with the bike in its stock form so modding the look is off my radar. I'm the same with cars and prefer them to err on the conservative side - I've got an r32 - a sedate looking motor - and although I'll be sticking a blower on it before long to release a couple of hundred new horses I'll keep it looking stock from the outside. I'm dull I know but fortunately there are people like yourself out there to spice things up a bit.

  3. Many thanks Moses - I think it looks really good - any ideas whether the front fender/mudguard from a Monster or Streetfighter might fit to finish it off? Cheers

  4. Hi Aero,
I am attempting to fit a carbon fibre front mudguard that was designed for a Monster. The holes on the fender would position it too high so will fit plates behind it to lower it. You won't be able to see the plates. Same problem with a Streetfighter mudguard and they look very bulky compared to the Monster one.
    Cheers,
    Moses.

  5. Finished customisation - details in gallery of modifications

  9. What mirrors are those and where did you fit them?

In my 1100 I want to put mirrors on but the oem mirrors on the newer model go right into the master cylinder sort of... So I could not figure out which route to go

  10. how you finding it without a front mudguard ? my flat tracker is a b*stard for throwing up dirt and stones, had to get a motorcross mudgaurd and cut it to fit after a incident with horse manure / open face helmet / nasty taste . . . . .

  11. They are Ducati Performance Mirrors and initially they came with a new set of handguards. I had them fitted over five years ago, I hated the flip out mirrors which were a pain when filtering, so I couldn't tell you if they are still available or not. I've since sold the handguards to Atomic.

  12. I have a converted Monster Front Mudguard which is in an earlier picture above.
Problem was the special brackets to fit it suffered from fatigue failure! I have had some more made but just can't be bothered to refit it at present.

    I prefer the look without.

It is a pain in rain as you get covered in dirt etc as you say so I try and run for home when the clouds go from grey to black. Luckily I have a Full Face Helmet so haven't tasted any of the muck!

Have you got a picture of your flat tracker?

  13. its not based on a ducati but a husaberg 650 single

  15. one of the last, 2008, built by dave clark racing then I went to work on changing all plastics to carbon fiber, had the front numberboard made, bought all the JBS Racing parts, diamond coated valves, ceramic coated piston, JBS stator, stator cooler, uprated water pump samco hoses etc etc etc etc.

its an absolute hoot but only has a 1 gallon fuel tank . . . . . . . and yeah it was a supermoto with 1100 miles on it before it was converted (now has about 2300 miles on it)
