There's something about chrome spokes and fat tires isn't there? Just look brilliant. Someone pulled apart a Speed Triple (in the US of course) the only thing I think I like are the wheels! my conscience is suddenly lighter after reading Luckily don't have to answer to anyone just now re: purchase of bikes but used to salt a few classic cars away in lock ups when living with parents after being told 'No more in the garden Chris'. There were so many bargains around back then and the temptation was just too great.
No man would put up living with me .. Ali tank in bedroom , handle bars under the bed .. Shock absorber by the bed.. Crash helmets everywhere ... Mini Moto in front room .. My policy on bikes if you want it dear and it makes you happy then we can find room... You want to do what in the kitchen? No worries just stick a brew on please! No issues ... See I was in no way meant to be a girl!!! If I was given the choice between a bike part and shoes .. Bike part for me! Auto jumbles yes please But sadly I don't scrub up well And have the elegance and grace of a pit pony Messy scruffy oily muddy but happy My parents cringe .. I'm not homely on the woman front I'm well useless But will happy painstakingly work on bits like paint and cleaning up metal and carbon wet and dry and my cutting compounds and bits.. I'd be happy with a nice garage with a bedroom at the end and a kettle or urn sorted!!! Im not much cop with spanners nowdays but happiness for me if not out on bike is sitting in a garage being given a job to do , making tea and the radio on or music talking Crap .. Learning or having a giggle. I miss those days very much .
