I think the saddle and chainguard are genuine 'R'.Not to sure about the frame though,looks a bit earlier to me.I am sure an expert will be along soon to verify.It is certainly the faster colour though.
Thats the problem with Ducatis, so many interchangeable bits you can never be sure. Once I had front sprocket and stabilisers from a Fireman Sam and wheels from a Postman Pat model.
I always wanted one of those-but it was just to much money for me.Probably didn't have the riding skills for it anyway.
........and don`t forget, the Fireman Sam bike is probably the better option, as like others have said, the Postman Pat one may not supply the same level of enjoyment over a longer period. You know how to ride and the throttle always goes both ways.
