Discussion in 'Newbies Hangout' started by redders, Apr 14, 2014.

  1. Well you should get a good deal for the blade ???
Have you got any figures yet.
Anyone seen baron von rumples youtube 899 review. Its a hoot

  2. tSeen The Barons videos, he is quite funny, must have liked the 899 as he went out and bought one.

Offered me £4k ish to swap so £8.5k for the Blade, I would want more than that off them, bought a dozen bikes from them over the years, if he ups it to £3.5k I might be tempted as I will get £500+ for my parts, need to raise £10k to be able to do a deal and justify doing it to my other half !!!

Wonder what Martin at DG would be offering ???

  3. I don't get how that guy is not Robert Webb

  4. [IMG] looks nice in the living room don't you think?

  5. It'll look nicer on the road ;)

  6. Do a burnout!

  7. Haha already made a big enough mess getting it in there last night.

Was to surprise a mate. He stood in the room with his back to it for 2 mins before he even noticed..

  8. Tail tidy all ready - good call!

  9. At least you can use those huge mirrors as clothes airers

  10. Have the engine running and you've no need for a tumble dryer any more.

  11. Or anything else for that matter :Hungover:

  12. Nice one readers. Same as mine, just done the 600 miles so a few more revs now;) need to get a tail tidy though and would love some akro's but as you say a lot to justify.

Hope to catch up some time as there is a strong group from oxon/Berkshire and Hants that met up for a blast. I live in Andover and regularly do the Newbury TT up the 343 and up to wantage, back in to Newbury passed snelsmore and then back down the 343:)

£170 fcp BTW also old git but big claim last year on my 1198sp.

  13. Newbury TT flies;)

  14. duke, what route is the Newbury TT ? i use to live in Hungerford but had a Yamaha 1300sp then, so no real requirement for anything taxing :), but live near Bristol now. So A4 up to Newbury from me is pretty good and would be interested to add the TT on to that.

  15. Newbury TT, sounds to me like the run out to wantage and then across to hungerford, then back to newb? Or there is the Andover road?

  16. Yep guys that is the run! Bit flooded still on the road between wantage and Newbury but should dry up soon ;)

  17. I did it last week, had cleaned my bike and was looking mint then had to ride through that!!
