lets not have a downer on the block booking thing , its there for the customer really ...it enables me and the other schools to ensure we have slots available for the student and a retest should he/she fail ........test availability is manic at the moment purely down to the new rules as most are flapping , its actually the dsa that have blocked out some availability .....after the 19th im sure it will settle down
this is my point really - I undersatand they are running a business but would it be that hard to have an allocation of tests for privateers? Its costing £600 as it is - without having to pay an extra £100.00 if he has to retake a mod because slots are not bookable to you and me - yes the bigger picture and all that but I think it is taking the piss I think Aberdeen has some slots I guess they are following Europe instead of actually thinking what would help youngsters - if he ends up having to keep his 125 for a couple of years then so be it , but I would prefer him on a bigger bike especially on a motorway The Theory test should be part of the CBT - not sure its right that they can get on a 125 without opening a copy of the Highway code Insurance another factor - 1 ltr car that couldnt pull the skin of a rice pudding - £3500.00 , 33hpbike - £450.00 - again its all about the amount of damage they do when they hit the Jag,, If you have a car license from 17 you can ride any trike you can afford: if you have been trained to handle motorcycles however you have to wait until you are 24 and hold the full unrestricted bike license before you're let loose on 3 wheels. No idea how this affects sidecars Not sure how making the whole thing harder and more expensive will help - I guess its safer to stay at home, not bother with a job and get social Anyway - enough of that - I need a mince pie
