  3. Living in Somerset a few mile's from the Clarks Shoe factory, a big truck used to turn up at our junior school and fit every kid up with new shoes to 'road test'
    for a few months and then come back, collect them up and the cycle would start again.

  10. I liked Haliborange, they were just like a sweet (orange Tictac). Rosehip syrup wasn't to bad either but you could stick your Rusks, horrible bloody things. :(

  13. I remember being quite poorly once and was given some malt extract and told by my mum she would rib vick in my chest, my best friend in junior school was called victoria so it panicked me a bit as she was quite a big girl

  16. Walking to school on rainy winter days wearing shorts with wellies slapping red welt marks onto my bare legs. I hated being a teacher.

    But on the bright side we had these. I think you can still get most, if not all, though probably in a less toxic form.
