  1. What site is that?

  2. Bet365

The rider match ups and more in depth race bets don't appear until the weekend of the race, you can however bet on the championship etc most of the time.

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  3. The Honda isn’t really stereotypically a Lorenzo type bike but we will see

  4. Is the Duke?

  5. I think he has adapted (because it’s a recent thing) because he knows the ahi da will need it. Hence he’s improved.

I suspect it’s a combination of stubbornness from both Ducati and Jlo that has meant he hasn’t got on it til now

  6. Rossi asked for an alloy frame and got it.

  7. Honda have brought Lorenzo in the team to silence Ducati's march forward attack on them,,smart move:upyeah:

  8. Worth his wages for Honda to keep him off the Ducati. I think he’ll adapt to the Honda pretty quickly once they make a tank extension for him.

  9. I personally think a lot of people had a preconception about Jorge, and possibly understandably so that he needs a bike 'on rails' with long setup and huge arching corners. On the yamaha he was much about setting himself in the corner and executing it perfectly....unless you screwed that up for him

He's recently started riding far more 'backing it in style' which as you can see from today is more suitable for sticking it up the inside of riders like Marquez. Block passes and generally making a nuisance of yourself is probably more the Ducati / Honda style

I don't think it's too much difference in how he's started to ride the Ducati as to how to ride the Honda, and I dare say he'll come to terms with that quicker than the switch from yamaha to ducati

  10. I agree with you on many points here and I also find myself warming to JL now, a bit like the 999 never did, but now does..
Where I disagree slightly is that you Say Dovi is not in your top 5 current MGP riders..#1 MM yes #2 ? #3 ? #4? #5?
Rossi yes is a great, the greatest of all time but not currently so I don’t think, perhaps though still number 3? Dovi is not a tail slider, he’s a thinker, more a Prost than a Senna, but very quick too and I’d say number 2 or 3 JL I’d say currently 4 and number 5 I’d say currently is Crutchlow although I admit I don’t like him purely on his attitude, one heck of a brave guy though. Commended especially as he didn’t come through Moto 3 and 2 ..

But Dovi not in the top 5.. no..imo..

  11. Well, I think he's around there. For me, Marquez, Lorenzo, Rossi are definitely better, which leaves him 4th at best. I think he's on the best machine now and has had years on it.

Then there are a group of riders you could argue he's amongst and shuffle about. Zarco, Crutchlow, Vinales, Iannone. Just my opinion of course and this is what bar room debates are made of. :)

Right now, Lorenzo is looking the more likely to win imo, now that he has it sussed. I actually think if Marquez hadn't been tangling with JL last week in Brno for the last couple of laps, JL would have won that race, he just seemed so in control.

So yeah, around 5th ish imo. :upyeah:

  13. Depends on the Yamaha. If they can arrest the issue, I still think Rossi can make top 3, possibly second. I'd wager Crashalot may take Viniales spot as 5th

  14. But do you think Yamaha will arrest the problem so Rossi will finish second?

  15. But neither was or is the Ducati!

  17. I think the difficult part for Lorenzo will be the braking and corner entry acrobatics needed to ride the Honda at its absolute fastest. The Ducati is a perfect step towards it since it is so physical and hard braking but it doesn't turn like the Honda does so he will need to lose even more of his mega high corner speed style than with the Ducati. I've only watched the last few laps of this weekends race but he looked super impressive. I definitely think he is growing as a rider and also psychologically through learning what to do with these other bikes.

  18. The problem for Lorenzo is that whilst he clearly has a talent, it largely depends on his emotion at the time and he is running out of options where to go. There is absolutely no reason why he should stuff up at Honda apart from the already mentioned Marquez is the top dog. It will be interesting if those two will be equal billing and allowed to race each other or if Lorenzo is simply an expensive wing man
