Until one falls off, a new one will cost near to 400 quid and you cannot get a lock tumbler to fit your key.... Hope you enjoy your new mutley nothingbettertodo and good luck! I have a 2010 model and am very happy...
If they are anything like the locks on the Triumph Tiger there is a clip inside the lock aperture that snaps if you try to remove the barrel making it impossible to fit a different lock.
I would .....if I had the broken one! It however fell off the bike and is lying somewhere in the south of England. I lost the complete pannier on the way to Goodwood! I can live with that, and have already purchased a set of second hand panniers....what peeeeesss me off no end is that I can only buy a set of 3 tumblers for 90£ and there is no way to make them work with my key....grrr
Got mine last Saturday mate and the bike is definitely a lot better than anything else I have ridden - 450 miles so far and all with a big fat grin on my face, you'll love it!
