Seriously if I chuck on flea bay as I'm not sure what to do with the engine I got .... I think it's a 600ss . With oil cooler add on. What do I chuck it on the bay for . Given All the USA stuff on there
Or do I just sell clippings of my overgrown bush ... Jeez they wouldn't see the funny side would they!
As far as I am aware the 600 didn't have an oil cooler...........or if it did, it had a tiny one behind the nose fairing vents...... The oil cooler in her pics is identical to mine only black and the hoses appear to be for the underslung cooler position rather than the top mounted postion like mine, therefore as was said above it will fit any carbed SS subject to which hoses are fitted. Mel needs to check the engine number before she puts it up for sale..........who knows what she has got otherwise (apart from blue boobys and a scraggy bush)...... I offered to help Mel in the basement but she said we would get dirty down there.......well, I didn't know whether I was coming or going. AL
I reckon a add on then as the bike was going to be for DD...... would that make sense. I need to find out what my engine is .... I would love to know how it runs.... but would need belts done arghhhhhhhhhh
Serial number should include CC in the number, example (for a 900); ZDM904A2C*12345* where the 904 means 904cc and the 12345 the serial no. obviously a 600 would have 600? (or exact CC) in that number.
Blimey, reckon you need to get some sheers on there bush of yours, especially when a back passage is involved !!
Oh thats Great so I can look at the number and know what it is cc wise ... im betting a 600....... if so Im home tonight il venture into the basement of doom ..... Im just scared of spiders !!! ...... im pretty convinced its a 600 engine bugger
