That's a relief, would prefer to avoid the hassles I'm having with getting my 2010 mts, through its annual vehicle test! Still no word on delivery dates for orders through the Scottish dealer, could be a long summer waiting? Keep the updates coming with how you are getting on with the new bike.
I did receive my 1200S yesterday from same dealer as Motohtori. I have drive it only about 40 km, i like aloth how it sounds with termignoni slip on and also it looks good, can`t really yet tell about handling and acceleration. Cruisecontrol works very well, it is a very nice feature. Full led headlights seem to be very powerful, with a nice white light. I havent get phone connected to display, everytime there has been somekind of error, somehow it just dont want to make it connected via bluetooth.
More bad news in Belgium. No registration possible till 29/4 !! due to administration problems with Euro 4.
Motohtori, congrats on the new bike. You are just the man I need to ask a specific question to. The top box, could you please supply some detailed photos of the attachment area. I need a top box only for when the wife comes along and would normally never have it attached, as such I'm trying to ascertain how quick and easy it is to add and remove the whole assembly, not just the top box (which I'm sure would be a quick detach but leaving unsightly mounting brackets )
I have the same question have looked over all the press photo but can't find a good pic of the rear end with a top box. have they removed the ugly support bars that hooked under the rear of the seat on the previous models have seen photo of 1200s with bars and without.
Thanks for the photos much neater fit (in my opinion) than the old version looks like about 12 bolt to remove think i would just leave it in place most of the time. thanks again enjoy your new ride
By the way in the owners manual there is bluetooth connection option explained for standard version too. I did not find it my dash. It might be some extra feature you can buy.
Moto Many thanks for the photos it explains a lot, would it be possible to supply one last picture, this time from the top looking down onto the black plastic base that the top box actually clips on to. Please don't forget to leave us some feedback on how you find the bike
Morning ride in my home town. That tank bag is perfect for my fz-1000 camera. It is just the right size so that the camera do not shake inside. City riding is silk smooth. It is like riding a scooter but as you open the throtle sound is nice and something happens.
I was in Gran Canaria last week and while walking along the street heard this low rumble, saw a new DVT Mutistrada powering out of a roundabout. A really low exhaust note, not like my 2013 model. Test riding one on Tuesday.
Like that tank bag. Assume it has thise power outlets inside? And how does BT work with a phone? Does it display maps or anything on the screen?
You can see the power outlets inside the bag in this picture. My version does not have the Bt option. S model owner said he had some problems with connection. It does not display maps.
Motohtori You have a beautiful new bike. I actually love the new design and I know I'm probably in the minority but I prefer it to the older look with the bigger snout. That exhaust sounds like a contented tiger - very nice indeed
