You lot,man cave seriously,it's going in the kitchen,my hyper is the main bike,something that's got the wow factor,was looking at a 10r with damage wheels,full ohlins,full system,q/s etc.
Okay not 10k but if I was going to buy a special bike to wank over and polish I'd without a doubt buy an 1199 tricolore. THE most beautiful bike ever made in my honest opinion

For sale on the RD forum........ This has been my project for the last 18 months, it's a matching numbers UK Yamaha RD400e that I have turned into a TZ type cafe racer by fitting all the best period 1970's aftermarket parts , the best being the fully rebuilt and very rare Fahron 430 watercooled kit . There were only around 35 of these kits made by Ron Phillips at Fahron engineering and are very hard to come by , including the original water pump, the pistons are brand new so the crank etc . The wheels are CMA , swinging arm JMC, Koni dial a ride shocks,new raask rear sets , rechromed forks , rebuilt brakes , hel lines, ceramic blasted top end , crank cases and carbs , powder coated frame etc , TZ points cover, 34 mm mikunis, Martin Johnson one off pipes, alloy rad , new pro paint set , Avon tyres , Cibie concave headlight, skimmed drilled disks. Everything on this bike is rebuilt or new and its in show or parade condition , it just needs a little finishing ie setting up the carbs . I've covered around 60 miles on the road and this bike has bags more power than my tuned RD400 and or my LC350 , it pulls really strong from low revs but I haven't run it in anger . It ran up to temperature of around 60' and held that temp on a dual carriageway for a mile or two. I have the V5 in my name and I have a ridiculous amount of money in this bike which could easily be made standard again but I wanted top spec and different. . If it doesn't sell I might put the standard parts back on that I still have i.e. 400e top end , carbs ,airbox , wheels, swinger,main stand ,Stainless Martin Newlyn pipes but the price would still be the same. last year I had 10 k to spend. I bought a 749s nero and a 1 owner 8000 mile 98 900ss. had a bit of change also. Far from unhappy about my choices. But next time I have some £'s I'm buying a food truck. In fact I weren't so stubborn id sell me bikes to make it happen
