I think that I was probably subconsciously articulating my dislike of Harleys, PJ.

You can be very pro-Ducati without actively hating Harleys. There aren't, to be honest, many bikes I loathe. That is to say, there are few bikes I'd derive no pleasure from riding. Owning them may be a different story, but I'd certainly sooner be riding a Hog than sitting on my sofa (although the feeling might be similar).

 

Does your sofa vibrate like buggery then?

That XR750 is a cracking looking bike, I'd be happy to own one of them. Seems impossible that it came from the same factory as the Fatboy...and the XR1200 is a fat piece of shite, corrosion, and more shite. A tart's handbag in true Harley tradition.

I don't dislike Harleys, what I hate is the price you have to pay for them. Shit brakes, shit suspension, mild steel everywhere and stone age engine technology...that'll be twenty grand please squire
