  1. I know the full Akra for the 1299/1199 is prone to cracking the manifold stubby section, quite a few reported cases, think rapido had a few problems with systems cracking with Hopper last year.

  2. Pictures please.

  3. This YouTube link will have to suffice until I can get some. . Andy

  4. He did away with the exhaust valve, but left the servo in place. :Meh:

  6. I love the Akra Ti system, the colour changes of the pipework make it look fantastic. But for me, the end cans of this system look too bulky for the back end.

Now, if there were an option for the Akra Ti system + Termi slash cut end cans, that would get my vote. :upyeah:

  7. From my dealings with Akra if there had been issues with quality they will resolve it and replace no quibble under warranty , let's face it even Ducati ain't got the system right for the Pani.
Back to topic for me it's a no brainier Akra full ti wins hands down,
Ps get rid of that number plate hanger and the back end looks much better

  9. I have the reporte corse exhaust on mine. Only the last split is titanium. This exhaust has a nicer finish and the end cans are LOUD.

  10. Yes, saw that arrive and was the Akrapovc system I tried, unsuccessfully, to blag :(. Andy

  11. Was it in Good condition Andy?

  12. Yes, I believe it is. I didn't get down and dirty with it but I did pick up that it has a JHP pierced clutch cover and an aftermarket top yoke which I believe had been fitted so a sat nav could be used. The OE top yoke is I am assured in the box of bits that includes the original exhausts. Rear wheel balance weights could have been fitted better and the old weight backing could have been removed but I'm getting picky. Well worth a trip to MR if you are in the market. Big bonus is the shim service was done in April - that was not cheap believe me ! Andy

  13. An addendum to that, I believe it may have originally been a JHP Coventry supplied bike. Andy

  14. I have a 1098r ecu mapped for the termi full system for sale, that way you could buy a second hand system for an 1198 and save a bit as full systems with a 1098r ecu are hard to find unless you buy new

  15. Sorry for the late reply Andy, I have just seen your response. I will nip down and have a look.

Appreciate you being picky, because that's how I am.

    Thanks very much.
