Any more info on this? Thanks Richard Think I understand it, did you use M6? Are you in the ST UK Face Book Group?
Hi, have had my ST2 for 5 years. I am just trying to understand how the lock nuts benefit the adjustment, or have I missed a trick. You have to use the internal thread on the alumin part to move the axle backwards for chain adjustment. As std you are supposed to align, tighten the axle nuts, then torque the adjuster bolts up, so it is not loose. Either you need to have loctited a stud into the thread, or have something like a cap head, put in through the thread from the inside. Is this the trick I have missed? Thanx
Is it not just a nylock nut torqued up against the adjuster but which is preventing the adjuster but from working loose ?
Apologies for late response but I don't get on here much anymore. I assume you are talking about the drive chain tensioner? If you pm me your email addy I will send pics, pretty sure I still have some bolts ,washers and nuts left if you want/I can find them.
