My Steve Mcqueen Bonneville draws as much attention as my Ducati and definitely gets more pictures taken of it
We all love our bikes in different ways and like to show them off.A bit of unnecessary downshifting or throttle blipping is all part of the pride of ownership, and yes,a bit of showing off. I love taking my bike out and doing the above-but never stop anywhere now.It spoils the illusion when a broken down old fart takes ages to get off such a cool machine and takes his helmet off
Saturday Donington Park WSB practice - (my 999s) parked up next to an 888. The pair were getting much attention. I think the rarity value of a 999 counts more these days btw respect to who ever was there on the Desmosedici with Alice and Casey Stoner stickers, plus plenty of track day noise test stickers.........being used as intended, not stuck on a plinth somewhere
Happened to me recently... as she was in a Prius and my open Termis were booming exactly at the height of her windows I thought I'll get a bollocking for how bad for the planet performance bikes/cars are but instead she smiled and said 'I love the bike!'
davebrownphotography | All Photographs pictures have been posted on the photographers website, pictures look ace especially the reflection of my dads st3 next to it,did I mention I'm not a poser 02.06.13 is the where mine is
Iv had more head turns and stop & looks in the 3 or so weeks iv had the 1098 than i ever did on my K4 GSXR and that was far from standard. I even got an ear full from a rather angry boyfriend for winking at a lovely young lady that was drooling at the bike from the passenger seat
vanity , my favorite sin! with the RR, the most questions i got was what it was... and that was at the Ducati clubraces in Assen LOL!!
What's the big deal, i had my shitty used everyday TL1000 photographed last week. Received the fine to go with it yesterday.
I remember looking into a shop window once, then I ran into the back of a Nissan, which had stopped at the zebra crossing !
...can't quite get away with the 'Not Mine Mate' wasnt a poser before I got a Duke... Am now thou
i had some guy metaphorically punch me in the nads the other day i was at my local bike meet with quite a few drooling at the 1098 and quizzing me about it as Im quite young. Then from no where a 1098s pulls in sounding like god after a dodgy curry with a full akra system complete carbon body and tank even the frigging wheels were carbon absolutely stunning bike. i may as well of been on a jap sports bike
