It's only human. I stopped at Devil's Bridge and an old fella on a Triumph came straight over and started talking about Ducatis for 5 mins. Got myself a drink and sat on the wall to polish my helmet (behave ! :tongue, then I thought another couple of lads were giving my bike an MOT the way they were crawling all over it. Then off to Hartside, again 4 lads on various sportsbikes were all over it while I had a cuppa. I'm not a poseur either, but it does lift your day for a few moments.
First post.... The old Duc draws attention like a 6 foot Swedish blonde. Lived in Sydney until recently where there are a lot less bikers and even fewer Ducatis, so a bright red 996 gets a bit of eyes. Have had bogans shout "That's a sick bike mate!!" while hanging out the side window of their utes and others giving me two thumbs up while I am stopped at the red light. Kinda makes you proud to be an owner. Oh, and hello fellow riders. Thank you for letting me join your forum.
You're welcome PM me your bank details so I can take the membership fee, without bothering you
Cheers. I'll sort out the membership fee. Ps. Are you out this evening? Even if you are I may pop round for a cuppa with your missus
