I'm Off... The Triple Swayed Me...

Can we have a special icon badge for splitters? I want to know if I'm replying to a proper rider or some IL4 or KTM-loving also ran.

 

Yes I have....but mainly 2-strokes.
And my dislike of triples comes from working next door to Jack Lilly's and 3 years of conversations with disgruntled bikers waiting for repairs over a bacon sandwich. But to be fair if I'd worked next to a Ducati showroom I'd probably be on a KTM now.

 

And if you worked next door to a Ktm shop you'd be a Honda?

I've ridden a couple of newish triumph's, a 675 Daytona and a Sprint 1050 ,and I ended up buying the Sprint as my everyday bike earlier this year,and they do indeed whine,but after you've gotten over it they really are a cracking engine especially the 1050 triple,the whine at standstill morphs into a nice howl at speed,cant really compare it to my 999S though...its a totally different beast in every respect.
