Welcome break from an intense topic. :upyeah:

  4. Imagine, actually looking for facts to back up an argument, how ridiculous is that?
No, much better to be a frothy mouthed dribbling ranter with nothing beyond prejudice masquerading as tradition to back up your vile opinions.

Masquerading means "a disguise or false outward show" just so you don't have to look it up, I know you don't like that sort of thing.

  5. interesting mindset.

  8. Like minds and all that hey?

  9. Some of us might not agree with him, but at least he put forward a well structured and reasoned argument for the position he is taking. If we could get an equivalent intellect from those taking an opposing view, it could be the most entertaining live TV debate ever.

  10. bullshitter
I bet you work for collins English dictionary and are doing an " o level " in big words to try and get a pay rise

  14. One of the things I like about this forum is that even the very hard of thinking feel confident enough to expose their ethical shortcomings to criticism. Long may they continue. We must try not to frighten them off.

  15. I really think leftie looneys have been brain washed and refuse to look any further than the cozy walls they live within.

Keep up the good work its really working.

  16. If Britain went down the road of routinely armed police and routinely armed criminals, the huge increase in firearms in civil society would lead to a corresponding increase in shooting deaths and injuries. Those who say they are in favour of arming police are in effect in favour of increasing the numbers of people who get shot. I am opposed to that outcome.

I think you'll find that Switzerland (with its widespread firearms)has several times more shooting deaths per 100,000 people per year than Britain (excluding Northern Ireland, of course).

NI has, as we all know, suffered the scourge of the Troubles for many decades, and the actions of the RUC/PSNI were notoriously among the chief causes of the problem. The idea of deliberately exporting the misery and death afflicting NI to mainland Britain is malicious and vindictive; it was for a long time PIRA policy. NI is an example of what to avoid, not of what to follow.

  17. Fixed it for you

  18. As you have yet to put forward a coherent argument for or against anything I would welcome the opportunity of arguing
All we seem to get is stream of consciousness ramblings followed by abuse whenever you are asked to clarify.
I will look forward to your next display of petulance with increasing amusement
