Luca, not many of us speak/read Italiano here, my friend. Besides, what has Melandri's view of VR46 have to do with WSBK last round in Indonesia?
Finally caught up on the weekend's racing. Although the conditions were crap and clearly the timing of the round has already been discussed. The two actual races were damn impressive, fair play to Rea, Toprak, Redding etc for pushing so hard given the weather. Toprak could have easily sat back in 4th/5th place across the races and still been champ, he took some risks which he didn't have to. If the superpole race had taken place the results would have been the same, the gap may have been less but Toprak would still have won. And watching the highlights made me realise that JR still has all of the speed he has had for years, he's just got a worthy rival and I don't think the new ZX10 is quite the bike that the old one was, it'll be interesting to see how he and KRT bounce back in 2022. I wonder now if Toprak will head to MotoGP in 2023, he did mention in an interview he had a test on an M1 at some point and he wanted to wrap up the WSBK title before even considering a possible move, it's where he could fit in I guess.
Bautista tested the V4 at Jerez. 96 laps and he didn’t crash ……… https://www.worldsbk.com/en/news/2022/Almost 100 laps for Bautista on Day 2 at Jerez as he returns to Ducati
