  1. yes sold in bits.. from my understanding at the time, an out fit over there were (and may still be) buying up bikes from here and breaking em.. mind you it may not be the remains of you old bike i have as it depends on the year.. when i get time i'll find the v5 , but i hope it is as its a cool story and you'll know where she's at!

  2. I had a sort out when we moved house a couple of years ago, but thought I still had some paperwork from the original sale. I brought the bike from " on yer bike " Aylesbury in 2003
More info the last MOT I had was 2009 at Alan Lear Winchester all servicing was carried out at Moto Rapido apart from when she was new. It went back to On yer Bike for the Termis and chip to be fitted. What a shame. As mentioned looked last night but nothing. Even thought I may have had a similar pics to yours showing the 0883 tag.

  7. Time to remedy that then!!

  8. In my my dreams, I must own up to looking at the adds in the autotrader and get carried away now and again. Good job the wife here to keep me in control :grinning::grinning:

  9. This is the problem or not... My wife (she's amazing) let's me... Although she gets the choice of holidays and the frequency of them.... I just have to bankroll them...

  10. it appears i do have the frame offa ya old bike!!! you sold it to ryan in romsey? date of first reg 03 03 2003?

  11. Well I never, thanks for taking the time to look into that and nice to know some of the bike is in safe hands.

  12. small world eh? its in reasonably safe hands, i have a 1098 engine that i really want to put in it but cant afford to do so (at least not to the standard id like) so every now and then i put feelers out to sell but as it appears i paid too much for both the engine and frame (and i refuse to take a large loss) it will probably maybe stay in my workshop till i can afford to make a bike outta it!
if i do manage it, it will be something special for sure! im thinking 748r frame ,1098 sf s engine, 999 swing arm (@Exige is holding 1 for me!!!) ally tank ... modern cafe with a twist...a black n white beasty!!!
