  2. Any change from a lobster? Asking for a friend.

  3. I've uploaded the first complete online copies of the 2001 Performance catalogue and both versions of the 2002 Performance catalogues. There were various versions of them online from other users prior, however, they were missing everything from scans of the covers, to duplicate pages in the wrong place, to having up to 5-7 missing pages in the front and back altogether. I didn't want to flat scan my perfect copies so I instead carefully used my phone to make replacements for all of the missing pages. It's interesting that the 2001 Performance catalogue didn't include the 996R. It showed up in the first 2002.

NOTES: Anything with a September/August print month is ALWAYS for the upcoming model year, with very few exceptions. This applies to all printed collateral from Ducati S.p.A.

Ducati Performance Parts & Kits Catalogues:
    MODEL YEAR 2001:
    ----------------
    2001 Superbike Perf Parts Catalogue - AUG 2000.pdf (P/N 967055AAA)
    *Does NOT include the 996R

    MODEL YEAR 2002:
    ----------------
    2002 Superbike Perf Parts Catalogue - AUG 2001.pdf (P/N 96713501B)
    *Includes the 996R + 998R
**Note the 75th-anniversary branding on the back cover (the FEB update removes this)

    2002 Superbike Perf Parts Catalogue - FEB 2002.pdf (P/N 96713502B)
    *Includes the 996R, 998R, 998S Bayliss Ed. + 998S Bostrom Ed.
**This is a rare instance of a mid-year update print

Then there are the 2001 and 2002 Apparel and Accessories catalogues. I only have scans of the front covers for now and the notes on them are below. Mine are mint so I'm not willing to destroy the binding by scanning them. Perhaps another community member will to share them at some point.

    MODEL YEAR 2001:

*Image is a placeholder until I can get a full scan

    MODEL YEAR 2002:
    ----------------
    2002 Apparel and Accessories Catalogue - AUG 2001.jpg (P/N 988901000)
*Image is a placeholder until I can get a full scan

  4. Here are the links to the ENG versions of the owners manual, service manual (the original COLOUR images version!! - which start at pg 65), and parts manual:

I'll also scan the 996/748 Instructions for Dealers booklet once I decide which of my 2 copies is the worst condition to use. Then there is the World Dealer Guide for 2000 and 2001, I'll need to scan those as well. My UK #31 came with a 2000 guide while my old UK #81 came with a 2001.- If anyone has an unused UK 2001 Warranty Coupon booklet please get in touch, I'd like to buy and/or scan that too.

The brochures such as the full UK brochure w/colour price list (already posted in this thread), US brochure, and fold-out poster brochure, etc. are pending.

Next year will be the wealth of magazines I've collected over a few years. I'll need to scan and organize all of the in-period 996R articles from about 40+ publications (including some trade publications like INTERMOT) and since many are in non-English languages, I plan on trying to do a Google Lens type of overlay in the webview that will translate the text from the image scan. This is last on the to-do list for my website. I plan on also doing scans of all the 2001 posters and various other marketing collateral I have.

  5. Here is an accurate representation of what the 996R Ducati Press kit that was handed out at Valencia would have looked like and probably contained. I updated this image in my thread about it in this same sub-forum. My bounty of US$350 for one is still valid!
