1200 DVT Is Skyhook Necessary?

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by Paul Grayton, Oct 9, 2015.

  1. So if my DVT S comes set up for a slim 70kg Italian rider if i turn the preload in 1 full turn it will be somwhere near my slim 100kg UK rider setting adding approximately 15kg per half turn any idea what static sag with rider on / off machine front and rear and does motor need to be running or ignition on to check on skyhook ?

  2. I believe it has to be running for skyhook to work but I have been corrected before and I think static sag should be between 30-40 mm. Again a can be and have been wrong.

  3. This all sounds real easy 15KG for each half turn which for me is 4 full turns from fully closed to get to 127KG. But what I would like to know is where is this Technical Data Reference coming from, is it from Ducati? or something else for each 1/2 turn equating to 15KG of preload.

    Cheers!!
