And I am a fan of them, lol. Getting some to go on my glossy Grey Ms. But yeah Black seat much better. Not a fan of the Red one on the Tuono either.
Yes I like the Trident 660, bumped into a newly qualified rider on one at the recently modernised fuel stop on the A605. My Son however is leaning towards a Husqvarna Svartpilen 701 when he passes his A2 next year. He decided on the Suzuki DRZ 400E.
Not keen on the 937 engine. Just a personal opinion, I had a Supersport. Should do a Monster with the V2 engine.
I had a V2 Streetfighter and the power is quite high up so you need to be going quick before you hit it. The 937 engine actually has more low to mid range torque so is better suited for the roads. My earlier Supersport engine had a gearbox that was clunky and it kept jamming in between gears. They have cured that now and the gearbox is super smooth now.
It's a light weight, nimble bike, that handles and stops really well! The only down side is the QS and the rad expansion bottle being too opaque to see the level!
Yep, pretty much. Only issue is if you short shift in second and third. It then hesitates a little after the change up, by which I mean it makes the change but then dips the revs.
It seems Python Yellow is an Audi colour - code LX1X. It does look good mind, is it a metallic? Perhaps they had a couple of tins left over free for Ducati to use
Yep, an Audi colour most often seen on their RS models. It is said to be metallic, but more pearlescent in finish.
Good to read this post guys, I ride a multi 1200s dvt and the missus is soon to be getting her licence and we was looking at getting her a street triple 765 rs however she sat on the monster 937 and felt right at home with the weight and the very slim tank, have to say the more I’ve looked at them too I think they’re a cracking looking bike. We’ll definitely be looking at the monster over the triple, more so because I ride a Ducati too lol
My wife's got a Street Triple which she's had from getting her licence. They are a great option as it is one of those bikes that will grow with you, totally benign when keeping the revs down and in the more conservative modes but a beast when you get the confidence to open it up properly. The only thing I would say is you have to get the suspension set up properly straight away as it will transform the bike, the best £60 she spent on it.
