Is this the bike to bankrupt Caterham?

Discussion in 'Other Bikes' started by MrAliT, Nov 6, 2013.

  1. dont think it will be any good on a track day tho.

  2. I seem to recall caterham is owned by the same person behind air Asia. If that's the case, it's probably more of a hobby than a money making concern for him. I guess in that lucky situation why not roll the dice a little

-edit- caterham is owned by Tony Fernandez who has a net worth of around $625 million.

    Should be fine....

  3. nope, the new G,s,

  4. Caterham don't need a bike to bankrupt them Ferandes is doing a pretty good job of taking them to the brink of financial collapse already.

  5. That's exactly what I was going to say: "Tonka toys for real tough boys".

  6. For the market they are aiming at, they should have made it 2-wheel drive, like the Rokon was:

  7. And if that don't swing yer spuds, how about the new Brough Superior..?

Another dog's dinner, but 140bhp/180kg sounds like fun:upyeah:

  8. Can't quite make my mind up about that. I quite like it apart from the 1930s fuel tank.

  9. My thoughts exactly.

  10. Err, no, I don't think so.

  11. Whether we like the latest 'trinket' offerings from cloud boardroom or not I think the more 2 wheeled offerings we see in the wider world the better. Someone may see one of these and get thinking, in a roundabout sort of way; 'I must look into doing my test.' Rising fuel cost, parking blah blah. We as motorcyclists are not a huge segment in the transport pie. The more the merrier I say.
Still holding out for a modern 750 2 stroke though.

  12. It was a husqvarna concept last year. Here it is with a man with a beard
