So the Confy Pillion seat arrived from Dave and it’s all fitted. Hopefully it will be comfier and grippier. Just need to look into Engine check light that has appeared. Gonna take the fairing off and check everything I played with previously to see if anything has come undone but it still starts and runs. Hopefully that will fix….
Well I ripped of the side panels to check all my connections and only thing was the connector to the coil had the rubber folded over so re-seated it but other than that it all seemed fine. So disconnected the battery and so will see when I plug it back in. fingers crossed…otherwise my service next month could be expensive…
So bike is back together and the engine check light is still on. Gonna take it for a spin and see if it clears like can happen with my aprilia when it gets a service message. or is it a case of don’t use it and get it to a garage? Advice and opinions gratefully appreciated. Just want to ride it.
If it’s an amber engine light they can sometimes reset after (iirc) three cycles. Go for a careful ride or three and see.
